Elizabeth Simon, R.N., A.N.P.-B.C., Ph.D., is a professor of nursing. Prior to coming to NYIT in 2018, she was a professor of nursing and dean of the School of Nursing at Nyack College. She also previously served as faculty and post-master’s nursing education coordinator at Hunter-Bellevue School Nursing at Hunter College and as a critical care nursing consultant for Corporate Nursing Services of NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation (NYCHHC).

Olivier MORENON is a doctor of education sciences. His research areas are mainly about educational psychology and resilience. Concerning his professional experience, he started his career as a psychiatric nurse. He then taught for five years in a French “nursing training institute” and for one year at the University of Aix-Marseille in the Department of Advanced Nursing Practice Masters. He is currently a professor at the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland ARC (HES-SO ARC) in the health department, still working with nursing students.

Advanced Nursing Practice, Psychology and resilience

Dr Ursula Serdarevich is a teacher and independent researcher in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her primary line of inquiry is Nursing Historiography and the relations between power, identity and memory. In the educational field, she works with pre - graduate and postgraduate students. She is also involved in animal welfare and protection serving as a volunteer at an animal sanctuary.

Raimundo is a physician graduated from the Federal University of Goiás, specializing in intensive care. Postgraduate in intensive therapy AMIB 2010 - 2013 and postgraduate also in intensive therapy by the hospital Sírio Libanês 2013 - 2014. Medical Manager of the Municipal Hospital of Salvador / Santa Casa BA. Post graduate in business management from Fundação Dom Cabral. Effective Associate of the Brazilian College of Health Executives - CBEXs. Participates in the movement of dissemination of good practices in patient care through the hospital certification by the methodologies ONA and QMENTUM. Became leading assessor by ONA and QMentum specialist in 2018.

Emergency Nursing

Prof. Sejran Abdushi experienced in clinical medicine and in the teaching process. He is an active researcher most interested in cardiovascular concerns. Actually is a part of the accademic staff at Nursing School of UBT – High Education Institute of Prishtina.
